因大腿拉傷缺席17場比賽的林書豪終於在13日歸隊，客場出戰過往老東家火箭。
林書豪此役替補出陣，在第一節剩下4分14秒時被換上場，隨後成功製造對手進攻犯規，並在倒數37秒切入上籃得手，睽違將近6周後終於再次在NBA賽場上得分。
目前半場打完林書豪出賽9分鐘，拿下2分2籃板2助攻，在第二節倒數0.9秒時成功製造犯規，不過2罰都沒有命中，投籃手感還有待調整。
火箭靠著「大鬍子」James Harden攻下10分6籃板7助攻的全面表現，半場打完暫以53比43領先籃網。
